The Opportunity
The Hudson Regional Cancer Centre (HRCC) is seeking a full time Medical Oncologist starting spring/summer 2025, or as negotiated. HRCC opened in June 2012, providing state-of-the-art care to residents living in Simcoe Muskoka. The systemic therapy team at HRCC consists of 6 Hematologic Oncologists and 9 Medical Oncologists who provide consultative services for more than 3500 new patients annually. The Centre includes a 34-chair chemotherapy suite, two large outpatient clinics, two level IV satellite chemotherapy clinics, and four linear accelerators. HRCC is committed to patient safety and experience, utilizing new technology to provide high quality care including an integrated oncology information system and an intelligent chemotherapy preparation system (RIVA, Robotic IV Automation). In addition, the HRCC offers comprehensive services to the region including prevention, screening, surgical oncology, supportive care and clinical research programs for patients and their families.

We are seeking a Medical Oncologist to join our progressive team of 9 Medical Oncologists, 10 Radiation Oncologists and a comprehensive interdisciplinary team of cancer care professionals committed to delivering exceptional care to the residents of Simcoe Muskoka. Compensation will be provided by the Provincial Oncology Alternate Funding Plan (POAFP). Expertise in gynecologic oncology would be an asset, but not required.
