Gynecologic Oncologist
Full-Time
The Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre (RVH) in Barrie, Ontario is inviting applications for a position as a sub-specialist Gynecologic Oncologist. The successful applicant will join three full time Gynecologic Oncologists and a multidisciplinary team of other physicians and specialized nurses, who work primarily out of the Hudson Regional Cancer Centre (HRCC).
The HRCC is currently seeking a full time Gynecologic Oncologist to join our existing clinicians within the comprehensive Gynecologic Oncology program in Barrie, Ontario. The successful candidate will contribute to providing care for patients as far as northern Ontario and extending into some areas of Quebec by rotating through the outreach clinic located in Sudbury. 
The Division participates in teaching of trainees and therefore must be eligible for academic appointment through the University of Toronto to offer opportunities to mentor multi-professional learners. RVH is home to a growing research program, supporting a multitude of disciplines across the hospital.  We provide research support in areas such as study concept and design, statistical analysis, regulatory, ethics, and logistical planning for Investigator led projects, academic and industry clinical trials.
The HRCC Gynaecologic Oncology Program provides high quality multidisciplinary care for hundreds of patients previously traveling elsewhere for most aspects of their care. An exciting opportunity exists to participate in the ongoing growth and development of this unique program within Ontario.
The qualified applicants should be certified (or eligible for certification) by the RCPSC and must hold an MD degree, be licensed (or eligible for licensure) in the Province of Ontario.
